I am a Senior Lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Division at the University of Queensland. I am also part of the Smart Machines Group which focusses on mining applications. My research interests are in all aspects of autonomous mobile robots including estimation, control, planning, perception, learning, and systems engineering. In particular, my focus lies in perception and developing representations so that an autonomous vehicle can reliably navigate through unstructured environments.
