Gulcin will talk about the new roles the Library, particularly the Physical Sciences and Engineering Library, has taken on recently. These include provision of desk top access to a wide range of electronic resources for staff and students, electronic document delivery, access to electronic journals, partnerships with academic staff in teaching and learning, provision of training for undergraduate and postgraduate students to carry out their teaching, learning and research in an efficient and effective manner. After her presentation, she would like to hear comments, feedback and suggestions about the needs of Mechanical Engineering staff and students. Leith Woodall, liaison librarian for the Department will also be available.
